Stringman: an $800 open-source cable robot that reaches a whole room
Neufangled's Stringman ($795) hangs a gripper from four ceiling-anchored lines, so it can reach a whole room and carry up to about 2 kg. It's open source and OSHWA certified, runs air-gapped with models on your own computer, and ships a Python API and MCP server for agents.
